Energy Savings for Seniors

Lower Your Fuel Bill. Lower Your Electric Bill.

Do you want to save money on your home heating and energy costs?

Energy Savings for Seniors events share information with folks age 60+ and their family and/or caregivers about home energy benefits they qualify for that will help them save money, gain access to free or low-cost weatherization programs, and obtain rebates for energy efficient appliances. One-on-one assistance for home owners and renters will be available.

This event is brought to you by our Benefits Counseling Program.

Volunteer benefits counselors provide advice on funding sources and help fill out applications for home repair, fuel assistance, weatherization, disability modifications, food stamps, utility discounts, and emergency fuel. They also provide important information on tax rebates and foreclosure prevention. Benefits counselors serve all towns in Franklin County as well as Athol, Petersham, Phillipston, and Royalston in the North Quabbin.
