Why did LifePath decide to move away from the Walkathon event format?

As LifePath continues to navigate the current and future uncertainty with both Federal and State budget constraints, we have decided to shift our in-person, Fall Walkathon event to a more traditional fundraising campaign, taking place from October 2 through October 30.

This month-long campaign will allow our past years Walkathon teams, sponsors, and individual donors to continue to support our efforts this fall without the logistical overhead and costs associated with running an in-person event. We are asking people to follow up with those they have approached in the past to support LifePath through this event and to ask for their continued support of this important fundraising campaign.

Additionally, the move towards a more traditional fundraising campaign format provides us with an opportunity to save more than $10,000 in event and staff-related costs, maximizing the impact of your donation to go even further in making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve through your generous support.

Are there different ways to participate in this year's fundraiser supporting LifePath’s Meals on Wheels program from October 2 through October 30?

Individuals, Donors, Businesses and Community Organizations can support this important fundraiser in three different ways:

1. Please download the donation collection form, print it, and/or share it with those you know.
2. You can choose to make a flat donation of your choosing to support the campaign by either going online to our website or by sending a check through the mail.
3. You can also create your own online Fundraising Team page through our fundraising campaign page (coming soon).

Can I send a check by mail in support of LifePath’s efforts?

Always! Checks can be made out to LifePath with “Meals on Wheels Fundraiser” in the memo line and can be mailed to:
