The power of community that you’ve brought to the Walkathon over the years has been and continues to be integral to the well-being of those we serve. The goal will be to host the event on Saturday, May 1 in a format compatible with the health and safety of our community.

When is the 2021 Walkathon?

Saturday, May 1, 2021

Where will it take place?

Our goals are to honor your wishes to support LifePath and those we serve, protect the health of our community, and provide for the needs that exist, now more than ever. The 2021 event will again be a virtual event.  We are looking to YOU to submit videos, photos and written sentiments about why you take part every year.

No matter what, we still need you to take action

In the months and weeks leading up to May 1, we encourage peer-to-peer fundraisers to again ask those in their community circles to support their efforts. We ask that fundraisers make use of the online fundraising option through LifePath. Personalized online fundraising links were created. Once set up, share the link through social media, email, or text. Donors give directly online and, because it's your personal or team link, your tally will increase before your very eyes!  Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Outreach and Development Director Carol Foote who will easily and happilly set you up!

We're considering adding a month long student-centered challenge to encourage more schools to participate and students to get active and do something impactful locally.

If we learned anything from the 2020 virtual event, it's that the effort from teams was what carried the event.  Call you team together or create a new one to carry last year's momentum forward.

  1. Build Your Team—or come as an individual walker. LifePath's 2021 Walkathon is a great opportunity for clubs, school, agency, church, or business to help elders in our community.
  1. Collect Donations. Personalized links are the easiest and safest way to ask friends and family to support your effort. Online donations given directly through the links automatically add to the fundraiser's and team's total.
  1. Make the Walkathon a day you'll remember. In 2021, what are your ideas for making it memorable and displaying your support for LifePath?
  2. Tell us why you make the effort. We recognize that there is so much behind how you participate, and we’d love to tell your stories through submitted (to this folder, please) videos, photos and words to be compiled for an event day presentation. We'd even be happy to film you, if that makes it possible for your story to be included! Here are a few ideas:
    • introduce us to a loved one who receives/ed support from LifePath
    • who you enjoy walking with and why
    • demonstrating the reasons you support LifePath
    • why LifePath is a charity of choice.
