Map & Directions

It's as Easy as 1-2-3

  1. Build Your Team—or come as an individual walker. Start today! The Meals on Wheels Walkathon is a great opportunity for your club, school, agency, church, or business to help elders in our community. It’s so much fun to walk with a group of friends. Your team can be any size—even one.
  1. Collect Pledges. Ask anybody and everybody to sponsor you. If you’re a team captain, hand out a pledge record and walker information sheet to each member of your team. Host a pre-Meals on Wheels Walkathon event, such as a bake sale or tabling at a local grocery store, and LifePath will help advertise it! Partners and children are welcome to get pledges, too. Pledges can also be made online through lifepathma.org.
  1. Enjoy the Walkathon. Win prizes for most money raised, most unique way to do the walking route, oldest and youngest walkers, and more! All abilities welcome. The Walkathon is accessible and seating is available. Come and enjoy local entertainment. Walking is optional. Event t-shirts will be available, and you can request a group picture for your newsletter, yearbook, or annual report.

Is it accessible?

All abilities welcome! Walk as you are able. The walking route is paved and works for people with wheelchairs or strollers. Seating is available.

What should I wear?

Come in costume, or use unique ways to travel the walking route. Be creative!

Can I bring my dog?

Friendly, leashed dogs may accompany you. Service animals are always welcome. Please clean up after your pet.

Are restrooms available?

Accessible restrooms will be available.

Is there an age limit?

Everyone is welcome to participate. Our eldest walker in 2019 was 93 years young!

Will there be refreshments?

Water and apples will be available all day.
