General Description:

No nights! No weekends! The RN Supervisor carries a small caseload and is responsible for the management of the medical screening, nursing oversight, and care planning of clients in the MassHealth Adult Family Care and Department of Developmental Services Shared Living programs.

The position provides clinical and administrative guidance and coaching to program nurses to promote best practices, and ensures adherence to program standards and regulations. The RN Supervisor works as part of an interdisciplinary team to monitor quality assurance and to design quality improvement activities.


The ideal candidate will possess proven competence in:

  • Effective staff management, supervision, and team building
  • Computer proficiency
  • Quality assurance oversight and results driven
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Sound time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and assessment skills

Previous supervisory experience and a current MA RN license are required. At least 2 years direct care experience with elders or individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community setting, and with health education experience. Candidates must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical examination and have had a tuberculosis screening within the past 12 months. A valid driver’s license and insured, reliable transportation and willingness to travel in and out of the service area are required. This is an exempt supervisory position. Monday-Friday availability between 9-5 is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary $67,340. 6% pay differential for Spanish or Russian bilingual skills. *$5,000 sign-on bonus distribution: $2,500 sign-on after 3 months and $2,500 after 9 months of continued employment. Bonus payments subject to applicable state/federal taxes.
