January, as the start of the new year, offers the opportunity to approach the places and people around us with a new perspective. Take a fresh look at LifePath, for example. Often times community members don’t know us until they need us. But once LifePath’s programs and services are “seen” and used, consumers and caregivers recognize the value of what we provide. LifePath offers options for independence - especially at a time when it feels as though freedoms are about to be taken away. We look to build supports around a person, enabling them to stay in the place they call home.

January is a busy time at LifePath, since we often hear from family and friends who have visited loved ones during the holidays and have noticed changes in the home or with their loved one. Whether you have an aging parent, a neighbor who doesn’t get out anymore, or a friend who cares for a loved one and needs some relief, fresh eyes on these situations may be a blessing. Call us, or you may suggest calling LifePath’s Information and Caregiver Resource Center at 413-773-5555 X1230 or 978-544-2259 X1230 to someone you care about, so they may understand which supports to take advantage of to live more independently.
LifePath works in concert with local bodies like Councils on Aging, social organizations, and more. Where there is change and need, LifePath listens to be able to best serve those who may benefit from our programs and services.
As we move into 2020, look around and consider the ways that LifePath may be able to be a part of your life, or the life of someone you care about. And if you know our value, please support the work LifePath does for elders, people with disabilities, and their caregivers either with an online gift, or by mailing your gift to LifePath, 101 Munson Street, Suite 201, Greenfield, MA 01301.
Happy New Year!
