Northfield Mount Hermon Benefit Concert for LifePath Promises to be a Feel-Good Treat

conductor and orchestra on stage with audience watching2019 NMH Benefit ConcertFor the 16th year in a row, on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at 3 p.m., Northfield Mount Hermon (NMH) will host a benefit concert for LifePath programs and services at the beautiful and fully accessible Rhodes Art Center on the school campus under the direction of Steve Bathory-Peeler, director of orchestras and concert band.

The concert is free and 100% of donations given will support LifePath programs and services that are currently underfunded such as Meals on Wheels, Home Care Services, Benefits Counseling, Protective Services, SHINE, Healthy Living, Money Management, and more.

Concert attendees will enjoy the musical talents of the NMH Orchestra and Concert Band as they play familiar light selections and a number of whimsical favorites by Leroy Anderson: The Syncopated Clock; Fiddle-Faddle; Bugler's Holiday; Plink, Plank, Plunk!; and Blue Tango.  Added to this year’s showcase is the Pioneer Valley Symphony Youth Orchestra for which Bathory-Peeler is the Youth Orchestra Director. This feel-good lineup will have you smiling ear to ear!

The concert is free and 100% of donations given will support LifePath programs and services that are currently underfunded such as Meals on Wheels, Home Care Services, Benefits Counseling, Protective Services, SHINE, Healthy Living, Money Management, and more. This musical event is the kickoff to our spring fundraising campaign which culminates in the annual Walkathon, which will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2020.
