May 2016 SHINE New to Medicare photoLorraine York-Edberg (right), Western Mass Regional SHINE Program Director, will offer educational information to those new to Medicare who wish to better understand their options.On Friday, June 3, at 2 .p.m., at the Turners Falls branch of Greenfield Savings Bank located at 282 Avenue A, counselors from the SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) program at LifePath will present an educational seminar called, “I am New to Medicare: What Are My Options?”

This free community event will appeal to those who are under 65 and thinking about retirement options or will soon turn 65 and may be feeling uneasy about their insurance options. Feel free to bring your questions and concerns. Invite a neighbor who may also need some guidance to join you.

Greenfield Savings Bank is partnering with Lorraine York-Edberg, Western Massachusetts Regional SHINE Program Director from LifePath, who will bring her expertise to the program.

If you cannot attend the session, you can always learn about your options by making a SHINE appointment. The SHINE program provides free, confidential and unbiased health insurance-related resource information, education, assistance, and counseling for Medicare beneficiaries and persons who are getting ready to retire and participate in Medicare.
