January is National Thank You Month, a time to invite yourself and others to discover what you are thankful for in your life and express your gratitude to those who make your days more meaningful.
As a reader of The Good Life, you bring purpose to the work we here at LifePath and in the community do each day to put together this publication. We work to share information and resources that will help you and your loved ones; to tell stories that will inspire and motivate you; and to provide access to the words of your elected officials and other representatives in the community, such as attorneys, social workers, and other nonprofit agencies and service providers. Thank you for taking the time to turn to these pages each week and read the content therein – we hope you’ve enjoyed this past year’s selection! If you missed any issue in 2016, you can find it online here, where you can also sign up to receive The Good Life in your email inbox each week.
We couldn’t have done it without the support from the community. Thank you to all of the legislators, elder law attorneys, professionals, volunteers, donors, caregivers, clients of LifePath, and other individuals who shared their expertise and stories with us through contributions and interviews for The Good Life.
In 2017, we will highlight efforts to improve the health and wellness of elders and people with disabilities living across our community through a new, monthly photo series. The photo here is the first in our series, and we look forward to including images from many other efforts beyond LifePath’s Healthy Living program. If you have any suggestions, please send them to the email or mailing addresses listed below.
