Learn more about Medicare at free sessions in Turners Falls, South Deerfield, and Greenfield
Are you under 65 and thinking about retirement and maybe feeling uneasy about your insurance options? Take the opportunity to come hear current and clear information about Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D at one of three sessions in February. Counselors from LifePath’s SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) program, SHINE Program Director Lorraine York-Edberg, and Sabrina Feliciano from the Social Security Administration (who is attending the Greenfield Council on Aging presentation only) will present an educational seminar called, “I Am New to Medicare: What Are My Options?”
The three sessions will take place on:
- Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at 1 p.m., at Greenfield Savings Bank, 282 Avenue A, Turners Falls
- Friday, February 17, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., at Greenfield Savings Bank, 61 North Main Street, South Deerfield
- Monday, February 27, 2017, at 3 p.m., at Greenfield Council on Aging, 54 High Street, #2, Greenfield
Feel free to bring your questions and concerns. Invite a neighbor who may also need some guidance to join you.
If you cannot attend the session, you can always learn about your options by making a SHINE appointment. The SHINE program provides free, confidential and unbiased health insurance-related resource information, education, assistance, and counseling for Medicare beneficiaries and persons who are getting ready to retire and participate in Medicare. For further assistance with any Medicare issue, you can make a SHINE appointment.
