Have you seen the new, 2017-2019 edition of The Silverline: Resources for Elders, Caregivers and Persons with Disabilities?
One of the most important services that LifePath provides is access to information about issues, programs, and services for elders, caregivers, and persons with disabilities. This is the gateway that, many times, serves to introduce people in our community to the wide variety of resources and support available to elders, persons with disabilities, families, and those helping to provide care.
Every two years, LifePath updates and produces The Silverline, a directory and guidebook that collects information on many of these services. Over 320 local, statewide, and national resources are listed along with contact information and a description of the services they provide. The listings are grouped by categories, such as “Advocacy & Information,” “Councils on Aging, Luncheon Clubs, & Senior Centers,” “Education & Leisure,” “Food & Nutrition,” “Legal,” “Transportation,” and more.
The Silverline is available as a downloadable and searchable PDF. You may also call the Information & Caregiver Resource Center (ICRC) to request a hard copy: 413-773-5555 or 978-544-2259, or email your request.
The Silverline is a product of LifePath’s ICRC. The ICRC is staffed by experienced resource consultants available to answer questions or assist with your inquiry through research and follow up as needed. For the most up-to-date information, contact the ICRC during business hours, Monday through Friday, by calling 413-773-5555 or 978-544-2259 or emailing us.
