LifePath Holds Thank You Party for 2019 Meals on Wheels Walkathon

The Walkathon and Spring Appeal, along with unsolicited donations to Meals on Wheels, raised over $110,000 toward helping seniors receive balanced nutrition, socialization, and wellness checks.

LifePath’s Development Director Carol Foote expressed her gratitude to the 33 teams and 175 attendees, along with the 40+ volunteers who offered their time and energy. She also pointed out that the teams, volunteers, and attendees themselves had quite an appetite, consuming 17 dozen doughnuts, 84 bags of popcorn, 30 pounds of bananas, 1 bushel of apples, and 16 pounds of clementines.  

The party included an awards ceremony officiated by LifePath’s Executive Director Barbara Bodzin to celebrate the winning teams’ and individuals’ accomplishments. The South County Senior Center won the coveted award for Most Money Raised By a Team and the award for Most Money Raised By a Senior Center with their total of $3,704.25.
