Final Quarter Actions

Carol Foote, Development DirectorCarol Foote, Development DirectorWe have entered the final quarter of 2019. For these months of 2019, we’re offering up ideas around including LifePath in this season of giving and gratitude:

  • When asked, GIVE!: In November and December we’ll reach out in different ways to ask for support. Please take those opportunities to make a gift that is meaningful to you while supporting what we do.

  • Become a monthly giver: Setting up a monthly gift is an easy way to continually support LifePath, and helps us to manage today and plan for the future. Paypal, the online payment system, manages the back end of our online giving page, offering an extra level of security.

  • Begin fundraising for the 2020 Walkathon: This time of year there are lots of opportunities to be in front of spirited people who are in the mood to spend and support local causes. One team has sold baked goods at the Great Falls Festival in Turners Falls, and others “table” at local markets, among other ways!

  • Need Nothing?: Ask your usual gift givers to make a gift to LifePath instead of giving one to you this year.

  • Take part in #GivingTuesday: On Tuesday, December 3, there is a national effort for nonprofits to focus on online giving. Our online giving portal is always available at lifepathma.org/donate, but we’re hoping it sees extra action on this year’s day of giving.

  • Make a qualified charitable distribution through your IRA: Ask your financial advisor or seek out resources such as Fidelity Charitable to understand how giving in this way may benefit you and LifePath.

There is never a shortage of ways that you can make a difference for LifePath and those we serve.
