Security, companionship, support, and home care services help residents stay independent and active in the community.  Congregate housing is a great option for people who don’t want to live alone.

Congregate Housing facilities in Franklin County

Morgan-Allen HouseMorgan-Allen House

Morgan-Allen House is located at 491 Main Street, near the corner of Main and High Streets in Greenfield, MA. The library, post office, YMCA, and Greenfield Senior Center are within three blocks of Morgan-Allen House.  Each resident has their own studio apartment, which features:

  • A private, combined bedroom/sitting room 
  • kitchenette
  • half bath with sink and toilet. 

The kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry, and three tub and shower areas are shared. Residents enjoy a community meal daily.

Winslow Wentworth HouseWinslow Wentworth House

The Winslow Wentworth House is located at 60 J Street in Turners Falls, MA. The library, post office, a grocery store, drug store, banks and more are within two blocks of the Winslow Wentworth House. The private units feature:

  • a bedroom and kitchenette; 
  • half-baths shared with one other resident. 

All other rooms are communal.
