Walkathon Sponsorship

Sponsorships are a large part of this event, as well as the many walkers and financial contributors that make the Walkathon such a success each year. If you’ve been a sponsor before, be sure to join us again this year. If you're considering sponsoring for the first time, we look forward to partnering with you. This year’s sponsorship opportunities start at $250 and feature an option to be with us on event day—bring your table, tent, and materials demonstrating your support for LifePath and our local community. Please click below for a more detailed description of the different incentive packages and commitment form.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can people participate in this year's event?

Businesses

Sponsorships play a large role along with the many walkers in making our event a continued success. This year’s opportunities include sponsorship levels starting at $250 and an option to be with us on event day.

Community Organizations

We depend on each other each day and when we stand together, we change the lives of even more people. Because of this, we want to celebrate our partnerships. Like sponsors, community partners are invited to join us on event day and help us tell the story of why this collaborative community is a great place to grow older together. Teams and Individual Fundraisers

We can’t say it enough—you are the heart and soul of the Walkathon. Fundraisers gather team members, call on donors, and take action: crafting and sending email messages, making phone calls, and WALKING! We are so grateful for your spirit, effort, enthusiasm and generosity.

Donors

We know that so many of you look forward to connecting with your favorite team and/or fundraiser, and supporting their fundraising effort. Thank you for responding when fundraisers reach out.

How are the funds raised through the Walkathon used?

The needs are continually changing and we feel fortunate to have this source of funding to answer those needs. Funding goes to support our Meals on Wheels, Home Care and a variety of other beneficial programs.

What’s the most important thing to know about unrestricted funding?

Unrestricted funds give LifePath the flexibility to make independence an option in every way possible. Receiving funding in this way offers LifePath the flexibility to take care of older adults, individuals with disabilities and caregivers when and where it is needed across our programs and services.

Can donors specify which programs they'd like to support?

While providing an unrestricted donation offers LifePath the greatest flexibility to allocate resources to the most in-need programs, donors are welcome to specify a program, if they wish. Those funds would then be "restricted" and only be spent on costs related to the specified program.

Can I send a check in support of the effort?

Always! Checks can be made out to LifePath with “Walkathon” in the memo line and can be mailed to LifePath at 101 Munson Street, Suite 201, Greenfield, MA 01301. Thank you for your support!
