I give you my spirit
I give you my strength
I give you my will
To go any length

I give you my prayers
Along with everyone else
I give you my tears
Too many to count

I give you my eyes
So you can once again see
The things that are beautiful
To you and to me

I give you my arms
So you can hold tight
The things that you love
With all of your might

I give you my legs
So you can stand up and walk
To wander around
And do as you want

I give you my throat
So you can swallow and eat
Taste the good things in life
Like cool water, so sweet

Most of all…

I give you my love
It’s really all I can do
I give it to you always
It’s all I can do.

K. G.
